GPS loses the building.
Thick walls, steel structure, and furnaces interrupt satellite coverage. Outdoor positioning alone leaves the indoor work unseen.
Know where your forklifts, vehicles, and high-value assets are. Across the yard. Deep inside the building. All in the context of your facility.
GPS + BLE positioning
The assets are moving. The question is whether you can see where they went—and what happened along the way.
Thick walls, steel structure, and furnaces interrupt satellite coverage. Outdoor positioning alone leaves the indoor work unseen.
Ingots, racks, and containers wait with no clear record of where they are or how long they have been there.
Without dwell and movement data, it is difficult to see the real flow of work or how equipment is being used.
Flyway combines a vehicle gateway with fixed BLE anchors to bring indoor positioning onto the facility map.
A vehicle-mounted GPS tracker and BLE gateway connects to vehicle power and detects nearby BLE tags.
Fixed tags sit at known positions on the structure. Their layout is planned around your facility and coverage needs.
Where GPS cannot reach, the vehicle gateway uses nearby anchors to locate the vehicle in the aisle.
Track the vehicles doing the work and the tagged items they move.
A vehicle gateway, a fixed anchor, and a BLE label play different roles. Start with what needs to move and how precisely you need to locate it.
The vehicle gateway
Hardwired to a forklift or vehicle
Best for
Positioning the moving vehicle and detecting nearby tags.
The anchor & asset tag
Fixed to a column or attached to an asset
Best for
The fixed anchor grid and individually tagged assets.
The item label
Attached to shipments and mobile items
Best for
Tracking tagged shipments and mobile items within the deployment's coverage.
Indoor positioning: The vehicle gateway and BLE anchor grid work together to locate vehicles within the facility.
Tagged items: BLE labels identify shipments and mobile items detected within the deployment’s gateway coverage.
Device drawings are schematic. Hardware, battery life, detection range, and anchor spacing are confirmed for each deployment.
Once your facility is set up, connect each tag to the item it identifies.
Attach it to the item you want to follow.
Identify the tag with its code.
Connect the tag to an asset your team recognizes.

The sample map places Forklift 07 in the transfer aisle, Coil 204 in Bay A, and Ingot 118 in Bay B. Select an asset below to inspect its details.

Find a tagged coil, ingot, rack, or container without losing the story of how it got there.
Define each storage bay on the map, count the tags inside it, and compare that count with capacity. See fill levels, near-full bays, and the whole area at a glance.
A tag identifies the item it is attached to. One tagged rack counts as one rack; its untagged contents are not individually counted.
Illustrative inventory · 44 of 58 tagged-item spaces occupied
20 tagged items / 24 capacity · 4 spaces available
17 tagged items / 18 capacity · 1 space available
7 tagged items / 16 capacity · 9 spaces available
Each filled block represents one tagged item. The example flags bays at 90% capacity; all values shown are sample data.

The details matter. Start here, then bring your facility-specific questions to a demo.
A vehicle gateway combines a GPS tracker and BLE gateway on the vehicle. Inside the building, it uses nearby BLE anchors fixed at known positions to locate the vehicle where GPS cannot reach. Reporting intervals vary by deployment.
Bring your floor plan and positioning requirements to the demo. We will discuss your aisles, anchor layout, and the level of detail you need. Discuss the accuracy your workflows require with the team.
The setup uses a vehicle gateway connected to vehicle power and BLE anchors mounted at known positions on the structure. Anchor spacing and coverage depend on the facility and selected hardware. Discuss mounting, installation responsibilities, and your go-live schedule with the Pintail team.
Yes, for visibility into tagged items. Locate a tagged coil, ingot, rack, or container; see its movement and dwell; and count tagged items within a defined bay. Bay counts describe tagged items, rather than the contents of an untagged container.
Tell us which ERP, WMS, or reporting tools your facility uses and what data you need. Discuss data availability and integration scope with the team before committing to a deployment.
